Terms of Service
These Terms should be read together with CredMaster's Privacy Policy and the product-specific disclosures and agreements issued by the relevant Lending Partner. They are drafted for CredMaster's stated business model as a digital lending facilitation / loan aggregation platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website, platform, products and services made available by CredMaster Digital Services Private Limited ("CredMaster", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing the website, creating or continuing an application, submitting information, or using any service made available through CredMaster, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform or submit an application.
2. About CredMaster and Nature of Services
CredMaster operates as a digital lending facilitation / loan aggregation platform. We may connect eligible consumers and businesses with banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies ("NBFCs"), financial institutions and other regulated or authorised lending partners ("Lending Partners"). CredMaster is not itself a bank or NBFC and does not itself provide or sanction loans unless specifically and lawfully stated otherwise. Our role may include customer acquisition, application facilitation, collection and transmission of information with appropriate consent, technology support, eligibility-related assistance and other permitted services for Lending Partners.
3. No Guarantee of Loan Approval
Submission of an application through CredMaster does not guarantee approval, sanction or disbursement of any loan or financial product. Credit assessment, eligibility, loan amount, interest rate, Annual Percentage Rate (APR), tenure, fees, repayment schedule, security requirements and all other lending terms are determined solely by the relevant Lending Partner in accordance with its policies and applicable law. A Lending Partner may approve, reject, modify or withdraw an offer at its discretion, subject to applicable requirements.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally competent to enter into the relevant transaction under applicable Indian law and must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the applicable Lending Partner. By using the platform, you represent that the information and documents submitted by you relate to you or your authorised business and that you have authority to provide them.
5. User Information and Responsibilities
You agree to provide information that is true, complete, accurate and current. This may include identity, contact, KYC, financial, employment or business, banking, income, credit-related and other information reasonably required for the requested service. You must promptly correct material inaccuracies and must not submit forged, altered, misleading or unauthorised documents. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTPs, passwords, login credentials and other authentication information and for activity carried out using your credentials, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
6. Consent, KYC and Credit Information
Where required, CredMaster and/or the relevant Lending Partner will seek appropriate consent before collecting, using, sharing or otherwise processing personal information. Subject to such consent and applicable law, information may be verified with KYC/identity-verification providers, authorised Credit Information Companies (CICs), banks, financial institutions, government-authorised databases or other permitted service providers. Any credit report or credit-related information will be accessed, used or shared only where legally permissible and on the basis required by applicable law.
7. Lending Partner Disclosures and Key Fact Statement
Before entering into a loan, you should carefully review the Lending Partner's Key Fact Statement (KFS), sanction letter, loan agreement, APR, interest rate, repayment schedule, cooling-off/look-up period (where applicable), penal charges, recovery mechanism, grievance details and all other product-specific terms. The loan contract is between you and the relevant Lending Partner. If these website Terms conflict with a product-specific KFS, sanction letter or loan agreement in relation to the loan itself, the applicable Lending Partner documents will govern that lending transaction, subject to applicable law.
8. Fees, Charges and Payments
CredMaster will not collect from a borrower any fee or charge that applicable digital-lending requirements require to be borne directly by the Regulated Entity / Lending Partner. Any amount legitimately payable by you in relation to a loan must be disclosed in the applicable KFS or other legally required document by the Lending Partner. Loan disbursal, servicing and repayment shall follow the payment-flow requirements prescribed by applicable law and the relevant Lending Partner. You should not make loan repayments to an unauthorised personal account or to any person claiming to represent CredMaster or a Lending Partner without verification.
9. Communications
By providing your contact details and the applicable consent, you authorise CredMaster, Lending Partners and authorised service providers, as relevant, to contact you regarding your application or service request through telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp or other permitted channels. Marketing or promotional communications will be sent only in accordance with applicable consent and law. Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent important transactional, application-related, security, regulatory or service communications.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with CredMaster's Privacy Policy and applicable law. The Privacy Policy describes the categories of information that may be collected, purposes of processing, disclosures, security measures, retention, user controls, cookies, grievance handling and other privacy matters. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.
11. Third-Party and Lending Partner Services
The platform may contain links, interfaces, offers or services operated by Lending Partners or other third parties. Their own terms, privacy notices, product documents and policies may apply when you interact with them. CredMaster does not control independent third-party systems and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, acts or omissions except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or where CredMaster has an express obligation under applicable law or contract.
12. Prohibited Use
You must not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes; impersonate another person; submit false or manipulated information; attempt unauthorised access to systems or data; introduce malware or harmful code; interfere with platform security or operation; scrape or reproduce platform content without permission; misuse another person's personal information; or use the services in any manner that violates applicable law or the rights of CredMaster, Lending Partners, users or third parties.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the CredMaster name, logo, website design, software, text, graphics, interface, databases and other proprietary platform material are owned by or licensed to CredMaster and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended lawful purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
14. Platform Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the platform for maintenance, security, legal, commercial or operational reasons. We aim to maintain reliable services but do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available access. Where legally required, material changes affecting users will be communicated appropriately.
15. Fraud Prevention and Security
CredMaster may take reasonable measures to verify identity, detect suspicious activity, prevent fraud, protect users and systems, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations. We may restrict or suspend access where there is a reasonable security, fraud, misuse or compliance concern. Users should immediately report suspected impersonation, phishing, unauthorised access or fraudulent payment requests to CredMaster.
16. Disclaimer
Information on the CredMaster platform is intended to facilitate access to financial products and does not constitute financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Illustrative eligibility, rates, EMIs, loan amounts or offers shown before a Lending Partner's final assessment are indicative only unless expressly identified as a binding offer. Users should independently review the final product documents and assess affordability before accepting a loan.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CredMaster will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of or inability to use the platform, third-party system failures, or a Lending Partner's independent credit decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from CredMaster's own fraud, wilful misconduct or obligations imposed by applicable law.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify CredMaster against losses, claims or reasonable costs arising directly from your fraudulent or unlawful use of the platform, deliberate submission of false or unauthorised information, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not require you to indemnify CredMaster for CredMaster's own unlawful conduct or obligations that cannot legally be shifted to a user.
19. Suspension and Termination
CredMaster may suspend or terminate access to the platform where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, regulatory requirement, discontinuation of a service or other legitimate reason. Termination of platform access does not cancel or alter an existing loan obligation owed to a Lending Partner. Any continuing loan relationship remains governed by the relevant Lending Partner's documents and applicable law.
20. Grievance Redressal
For questions, complaints or grievances relating to CredMaster's platform, privacy practices or facilitation services, you may contact us at support@credmaster.co.in. Where a grievance relates to a particular loan, sanction, repayment, recovery, interest, charges or another matter controlled by a Lending Partner, the relevant Lending Partner's grievance-redressal process will also apply. CredMaster will handle complaints within the timelines and manner applicable to it under law and its arrangements with Lending Partners. Additional Grievance Officer details and registered-office details should be published on the website when finalised / applicable.
21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve disputes through the applicable grievance-redressal process. Subject to any mandatory consumer, regulatory, ombudsman or other statutory forum available under law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts or tribunals having competent jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.
22. Changes to These Terms
CredMaster may revise these Terms to reflect changes in services, business practices, technology, law or regulatory requirements. The updated version will be published on the website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where a change materially affects existing rights or requires notice or consent under applicable law, appropriate notice or consent will be provided.
23. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
